Kurtis Kooiman brings over 30 years of experience in real estate and lending, having
successfully navigated every kind of market‚ the good, bad, and everything in between. That
depth of experience shapes both his professional insight and real-world approach.
Kurtis specializes in residential lending, helping buyers, homeowners, and investors with purchases and
refinances, fixed rate second mortgages and HELOCs, and financial counseling. With the ability to lend
nationwide, he offers a true one-stop-shop experience as a Loan Advisor and Financial Counselor.
He takes pride in not being your average Loan Officer, or as he calls them, "order takers." He's deeply
invested in each client's success and brings thoughtful guidance to every conversation.
In 2010, Kurtis trained directly with Dave Ramsey and became a Financial Counselor
through Financial Peace University. That experience reshaped how he serves
clients–going beyond rate quotes to deliver strategy-first advice.
His recommendations are always tailored to each
clients goals, timelines, and habits.
